Hi Valeria, welcome to Phyron! You joined as a Senior Customer Success Manager, right?
"Thank you! That's correct. It’s been an amazing start, with full immersion in client calls, partnerships, and internal walkthroughs.
Lots of new things to learn?
"Absolutely! During my first two weeks, I was introduced to key colleagues I collaborate with daily—including the sales, development, and design teams, as well as our partners. I also dove into client training and had sync calls with our trusted partners to align on strategies and drive growth. It’s been a dynamic and enriching experience so far!"
What do you like the most about your new job?
"I love seeing the impact of our suite of products—it’s truly impressive. The adtech industry itself is fascinating, with its intricate infrastructure and enterprise-level clients.
"And on a personal note, I really enjoy looking after the Italian market (though not exclusively). Being a proud Italian, it’s always nice to recognize familiar cultural traits in my interactions. Since moving to London in 2016, I’ve worked with clients all over the world, but it’s always special to engage with my home market."
And you have a major event to look forward to, right?
When and where is that?
"Yes! It’s the Automotive Dealer Day, one of the biggest events in the Italian automotive space that will take place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of May in Verona.
What did you do for a living before joining us?
"Before joining Phyron I managed the EMEA and the US markets for a cybersecurity adtech company based in California. That role gave me a strong foundation in managing international client relations and understanding the complexities of the programmatic landscape. It also helped me develop a strategic mindset, balancing the needs of both enterprise clients and partners across various regions.
"Bringing that experience to Phyron, I’m excited to apply my insights to drive growth and enhance customer success."
You’re based in London but will be working across multiple regions, including Italy and Southern Europe. How do you feel about that?
"Thrilled! Traveling has always been inspiring to me, and the ability to work while exploring my favorite places is priceless. This role offers the perfect mix: a remote setup that allows for focus flexibility, combined with the excitement of in-person meetings and changing environments."
What do you enjoy doing when you’re off?
"Since part of my job also involves analyzing reports and working with numbers, I love balancing that by reconnecting with nature—whether it’s a simple walk in the park or snorkeling when I’m in Italy. I’m also passionate about good food, so I often make meals from scratch, like fresh pasta. Cooking is a great way to unwind and be creative!"
